The incidence of Military Sexual Trauma is high.

National data from the VA reveal that about 1 in 4 women and 1 in 100 men, when screened by their VA provider, responded "yes," that they experienced MST.

Staff of the Healing Warrior Hearts retreats, dedicated to working with experiences of MST, are veterans who have experienced MST and civilians who have experienced sexual trauma, making it safer for participants to share their stories knowing their pain is shared and understood.
